Working with Layers

Layers. One of the most important factor that affects the way in creating plans and drawings. It is used to group information in the drawing by function and to designate linetype, color, lineweight and other elements. In creating layers, you can associate similar types of objects by assigning them to the same layer or same group. For example, you can put construction lines, dimensions, text and title blocks on separate layers. Doing so, you can control the following : (1) whether the objects on the specific group of layers are visible or hidden in any viewports; (2) whether and how the objects on the layer are plotted; (3) what color are to be assigned on the objects belonging to  layer; (4) whether or not the objects on the layer can be modified and (5) whether objects display with different layer properties in individual layout viewports. These are the functions that can be obtain from using layer. This makes things easier in working with different field of design in a single planning. You will notice that every drawing has a layer named 0. Layer 0 cannot be deleted or renamed. Its purpose is to (1) ensure that every drawing includes at least one layer and (2) to provide special layer that relates to controlling colors in blocks. Another thing is, when you start to put dimensions, you will notice that their is a new layer named Defpoints. Layer Defpoints or definition points cannot be plotted. It is the small dot of the dimension line wherein the dimension came from. It indicates the starting line of the dimension line itself. You can changed the color but you cannot plot it. So anytime you create a plan, always don't forget to work with layers. See yah..

AutoCAD eTransmit

Going back spontaneously with our AutoCAD tips and tricks. let us now talk about eTransmit function. The AutoCAD eTransmit command allows you to make a package set of files for internet transmission including all dependent files such as xrefs, images and font files. This command put you at ease while sending drawing files because sometimes we fail to include all the associated files like xrefs, images and font sizes. In most cases, failure to include those files makes the file unusable for the recipient and makes it hard to understand. It takes more time to realize or empathizing the idea of the design. With eTransmit, dependent files are automatically included in the transmittal package making it usable and more reliable.

Choosing files for transmittal. In choosing files to be package, under the Create Transmittal dialog box, it displays two tabs option for individual drawing files and/or three tabs option for sheet sets and drawing files that are referenced by sheet sets. Using these options, you can view and change the files to be included in the package. These tab options are sheets, files tree and files table. In sheets option, this is only available when a sheet set is open in the drawing. Use this options to automatically include all referenced files for transmittal package. Next is the files tree tab/option, in this option you can expand and collapse each drawing and choose the files to be included in the transmittal. By default, it includes all the referenced files in it. Last is the files table tab/option. This option gives you the most direct control over the files to be transmitted. You need to checked all the files to be included in the package which differs from the files tree tab option wherein files are automatically included.

The files that area automatically included in the transmittal are files type like: *.dwg, various image file types (i.e., jpeg, bmp, png, etc.), *.dgn, *.dwf, *.dwfx, *.pdf, *.dxe, *.xls,  *.fmp, *.ctb, *.stb, *.pc3, *.dwt, *.dst, and *.dws. While the following file types are types of files which are not automatically added to a transmittal package like *.arx, *.dbx, *.lsp, *.vlx, *.dvb, *.dll, *.shx, *.ttf, *.pfa/*.pfb, *.pat, *.lin, *.mln, *.pmp, *.unt, *.pss, OLE objects (linked files), Rtext objects (linked files), *.xls (miscrosoft excel files).

In creating a transmittal package, you can also include your own instruction or note to the recipient so he can fully understand what must be done drawing-dependent files such as x-refs and font files so they are usable for future revisions. In saving a transmittal package, eTransmit feature provides a method to name and save your transmittal settings as transmittal setups. The Transmittal Setups dialog box displays a list of saved transmittal setups from which you can select each time you transmit a set of files. It is like creating a new layout for the drawing. The default transmittal setup is named Standard.

Start of Ramadan

This year, the holy month of Ramadan starts as early as August 1, according to Muslim philosophers. This is based according on sighting of the new moon. Ramadan is the ninth month in the lunar calendar which is eleven days shorter that the solar calendar used elsewhere, where in Islamic holidays move each year.  During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims refrain from eating, drinking and having sexual intercourse with husband and wife. This month was marked for praying, charity and fasting. This year Ramadan precedes Christmas and Hanukkah. But while in many places these holidays have become widely commercialized, Ramadan retains its focus on self-sacrifice and devotion to Allah (God).

Muslims believe that during this month, the first verse of the Holy  Qur'an was revealed, the holy book of Islam. Around 610 A.D., a caravan trader named Mohammad took to wandering the desert near Mecca (in today's Saudi Arabia) while thinking about his faith. One night a voice called to him from the sky. It was the angel Gabriel, who told Muhammad he had been chosen to receive the word of Allah. In the days that followed, Muhammad found himself speaking the verses that would be transcribed as the Qur'an.

Fasting or 'sowm" during Ramadan is essential because it is one of the five pillars that governs Islam. That means, they refrain from eating, drinking, sexual intercourse and even doing bad things. They should devote this holy month to the creator, Allah. Fasting starts after they've eaten the first meal, called suhoor before the sun rises and ended after the sun sets and eaten iftar. For them, fasting serves many purposes as they learn to practice self-control and being reminded by th suffering of the poor and needy. They also believe that fasting helps to cleanse body and mind from stress.

Ramadan ends with a festival called "Eid-Al Fitr" or "Breaking of the Fast".  Muslims dress in their finest clothes and decorates their homes with lights and decorations, giving treats to children and visiting friends and family. A sense of generosity and hospitality gives color to this kind of festivities.

Naruto Shippuuden : My Anime

I've been a fan of this anime since I was in high school. I always bought Naruto things and stuff just to satisfy my needs and my habit. I always dream of being a ninja. I adore their abilities and they their skills. I always love them, my favorite creatures of all time. Thinking that being a ninja is cool and full of adventures. They are strong and they moves very fast, they can even hide in the shadows. I love everything about being a ninja. When ninja moves, they always flip out. They are so flexible. That is why I always imagine myself doing those things. So I just express my amazement in buying and watching Naruto stuff. Because in reality, whatever I do, I can never be the same as them. Unless, reality is the same as animation, every time you fall and get hurt so badly, you'll not gonna die or gonna get bruised, you'll just get too much bandage all over your body. It seems like life in anime is  funnier and full of excitement. You can do all those stuff in your face, your body and even in your actions. If life is like this, I want to be immortal. Living a peaceful and cheerful life like that, what else could you ask for? For me, no more.

Naruto is just a simple kid with a simple dream, becoming a Hokage (head of the village) someday. But because of his nature and condition, kids from the village keeps on avoiding him because according to folktale,  the monster who destroyed their village 16 years ago was locked and sealed inside him. This sealing idea was made and done by his very own father, the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. Minato believe that Naruto can somehow learn how to control the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox Monster inside him. He also believed that in the past 16 years, the attacked made by the tailed-beast was not a coincidence and someone behind it and someone is controlling the tailed-beast. This was the time Naruto was born. The host of the tailed-beast, her mother Kushina Uzumaki, was weakened after giving birth to Naruto and the seal that locks the monster inside her was weakening also, so the villains started moving and started to control the monster causing ravage in the village using his own power, and its Madara Uchiha. The story follows this trail until the end, up until now, this anime is still on-going and I can't wait to see and watch the end of it... Stay tuned... ☺

Facebook plus Work

Facebook, is now the most famous social-networking site that gives you updates about the latest happenings and events with your family, friends and community. This also allows you to chat and makes video call with them. It makes life more easier especially for those working abroad. We can connect and talk to them anytime.

Work, is the occupation which we are being paid for or the activity directed toward making or doing something. Most specifically, our job. This outsource our daily necessity but of course together with our hardworking skill. A career we need to fulfill our tasks and goals in life. Everybody wishes to get a good and better but descent one. In this factor, we put most of our effort to be noticed and recognized.

But what if we try mixing both, facebook and work? What do you think would be the outcome? Of course, an easier and less-stressed job! But be sure not to be caught by your boss or else you'll get a memo. At this way you'll be able to work hard and at the same time, you can chat or view your friends' updates. This will lessen the stress and pressure in your work. I already tried this idea way back a year ago. It is fun and exciting because you'll so focused on your work yet you were also focus on reading updates of your friends at the same time. Besides, you're so aware of your surrounding because at any moment at that time, your boss will come out from nowhere. Doing this regularly makes you more cautious and more alert anytime. Aside from less stress job, you won't feel boredom at all. Even if you are far away from your friends, you can still chat and talk to them. Try this and you'll find a little bit of happiness.

ACG Ways

ACG. This is what my peers called. They are the best of the best. Friends that you can always count and lean on. Supports and sympathizes you in any way they can just to keep you happy and comfortable. They're always there for you to listen especially in times of hardships and struggles, gives you advice in times you needed a companion, hang-out with you when you feel down and lonely, laughs with you even with your corniest jokes, and most of all, they makes you feel that you were born as brothers. The bonding that can never be replaced of with anyone or anybody. You can say that you really found a new brother in them. Even though you're not really family associated with each other. They are friends, my brothers.

This peers started on my secondary days. I was a transfer student at this school. During my first school, a student approached me and ask if where section I belongs. So I told him and luckily, where on the same section, II-Cattleya. Then he became my very friend on my new school. He also introduced me to his friends and companions. We all get along together. They were my buddies until fourth year high. All in all, we are five. The original ones. We were separated when we reach college. The other one enrolled in other university while the four of us enrolled in the same university but were assigned in different campuses. Only me stayed on the main campus while they go together in the same extension campus. A year later, one of us dropped out of college and work for the meantime. But he continues after a semester break. A year has passed and the other one transferred in a private university, so thus the other one. So we're only two remaining on the same university. After a year, its already on our third year, new friends came in and new hang-outs. Most of the time, they go to their newly found friends while the two of us wanders.  And finally, they introduce them to us. They are good, quite and looks that we can go along well with them. So we spend most of our free time going to mall,s drinking sessions, music jams and other non-sense things just to kill time. This are the things that keeps us busy during our college days. Time passes so quickly, some of us already graduated from college while other left behind, including me. But during those days, our groups becomes bigger and bigger, new freshmen came and joined our group. There are several girls who also joined our group. They are happy being heard they are members of ACG. Now that all ACG originals are graduate, we seldom see each other because of work and other things in life. But whenever there are birthdays or some happenings, we always saves time for it so we attend no matter what, unless there is an important matter to be made. Up until now, we are all the same, nothing's changed. We're still like the musketeers, one-for-all, all-for-one. I miss those days. . . Hope to see them again, after 2 years. . . . The ACG ways. Always there to comfort you. . .

Dreams

When I was a child, I always dreamed of becoming an engineer someday. Build houses, design roads and highways, construct bridges and dams and also build high-rise building and hotels. I thought that being an engineer someday will make a big difference in my life. I can fulfill my dreams and reach my goals in life. And also, I guessed that studying engineering is fun and exciting because you'll learn many things. I thought that it is all about analysis and application.

I'm about to finish my primary days when I always dreaming of it. So my high school  days are about to begin after two months of vacation. Here comes the entrance examination for high school, feeling nervous yet confident that I can somehow someway pass this examination. After long days of waiting, the result was out, and guess what?! I passed it! Hahaha. I felt overjoyed about it. I never thought that I can do it, but by luck, I did it! Childish mentality. Thinking of it, only four more years to go and my dream of becoming an engineer will come true. It's like holding your future at the grasp of your fist. But of course, there are still more obstacles and hardships to overcome. And also, having my family and my friends by my side, I know I can make it! So four years of high days has passed, here comes the graduation day. There comes happiness and now sadness because you'll be separated from your best buddies. But that's life, a never-ending adventure. So my college days are about to begin. . .

So college entrance examination goes near. Nervous and agitated, I take the examination. Hoping that I will pass it and so help me God. Many days has passed and the result was out, a letter from the university was mailed at our house. Feeling a bit of excitement but more frightened because of the result. Did I pass it or not So I open the letter and written there is the word "Congratulations!" at the top. I feel very happy. I can't explain how it feels. So I hurriedly show it to my mommy and daddy, and they said, they are proud of me. So I enrolled at the said university taking up "Bachelor of Science in Engineering", (for freshmen engineering, majors is not yet specified unless they are third year). This is the start of fulfilling my dreams. First day of school is about to begin, feeling happy and a little bit shy and nervous. Meeting new friends and classmates. Some are punk, emo, athletes, geeks, rich and normal students. Maybe I belong to the normal students. (Yeah, whatever!?!) Introducing yourself is he first activity before the classes begin. So I introduced myself, saying several information about me and other things that I like and dislike, and so thus my classmates. This happens repeatedly because of different teachers and professors. So the first day of my college day ends up. It was a very fun and busy day. As days and months passes, things getting harder and harder. Subject are so complicated., especially mathematics and engineering mechanics. It feels like my head is gonna blow in any moment. I said to myself, I don't want to continue anymore. But how about my dream. In regardless of hardship and difficulties, I somehow manage to get over it and continue this course. After seven years of studying, I finally finished and completed my college days and graduated as a civil engineering student. It feels so good. Something in life was fulfilled. It was a very exciting college life. So adventurous. Thinking college days has ended, this could be the start of my new life, as a college graduate. . .

Working in CARAT

Have you heard before the application called "CARAT"? CARAT. An application which offers an optimal assistance in planning, presenting and sales of your individually planned fitted kitchen. It specializes in planning kitchens from classic to modern design. It was also created for the purpose of designing together with the order processing and units pricing. This program provides you the planning design, the perspective/3D of the drawing, the units information or the unit code, and price list. Working in this program is easy, all you have to do is input the code of the unit wherein you can find in the manual provided by the manufacturer. Each code corresponds to the specific unit. Every unit has its own unique code and variant, which means that you cannot use  or alter the other code or the variant for the unit that you want if it is not on the list for the said unit. Each code matches its own price. Its price is prior to change when the new price list was given by the manufacturer. So therefore, a new update will be sent to update the previous data. Having this program legitimately allows you to contact the manufacturer directly to inquire about new updates and designs. Having a direct contact with them gives you ease in designing because you'll be able to determine the correct way of planning. Whether it is modern or classic. Because some of the units are not available in other variants or cannot be modified according to one's desire. So communication with the manufacturer is a great advantage. Learning CARAT is not that complex because if you already use any application about design or any other 3D application, you can easily adapt to its features. But don't expect other features from high-caliber 3D applications because you won't find most of those things there. This is made only for presentation and quick design editing.

AutoCAD 's Snapstyl Command

Isometric drawings. Are you familiar with the "SNAPSTYL" command? Well, this command is used in creating isometric drawing. Instead of using "ISOPLANE" command for each angle, and then enter those corresponding values and options, you can use this command to easily produce or create an isometric drawing. It's more reliable and comfortable in using this command because you can simply navigate or toggle-up from isoplane right, left or top.  Using isometric drawing  is one the simplest way  show the perspective of an object  in 3-dimensional state while in 2-dimensional  command. This gives you the idea of how does a design looks like in 3-D, but it only has limited faces and views. Most isometric drawing used to express an orthographic view of a plan, design or even a drawing.

In addition to this, I will also give you some tricks in creating an isometric text, dimensioning and creating a circle in isometric view. Lets first start in creating an object using the "SNAPSTYL" command then follow-up with isometric text.

-First, open Autocad, create new file, then press F8 for Orthographic Projection and F3 for Osnap (Object Snap Tracking) to specify precise location on objects. After that, enter the command "SNAPSTYL" on the command line then press 1 <↵>. There you can see that the crosshair changes from rectangular to isometric snap. It means, it is now ready to create isometric objects. Now you can draw your desired shape or object.

-Then follows the text. Create a text using text command. Type "TEXT" in the command line then enter. (Note: Don't use the command "T" only because it will make an m-text which lacks some properties of  being an isometric text or otherwise you'll have to explode the text itself just to make it text only.) After you've created a text, open the object properties dialog box. There you can see options under text, the options rotation and obliquing. These options controls the direction and the obliquing angle of the text . You can try to explore and you'll find out for yourself. Most commonly used angles are the 30°, 330°, -30°  and -330° because these are the corresponding angles used in isometric drawings.

-Next is the circle or ellipse. To create a circle in isometric view, you will use the ellipse shape. It possess the property of being in isometric or even in rectangular view. Type "EL" (for ellipse shortcut command) then enter. After that, you can see an option in the command line, press "I" for isocircle then enter, click on the desired location for the center of the ellipse, then enter the radius or press <enter> if diameter. You can press F5 to change the direction of the isoplane. That is how you can create a circle in an isometric drawing.

-Finally, dimensioning. To dimension an isometric drawing, first create a text style thru command line or thru dimension style dialog box and named it 30 Degrees, and put 30 on its obliquing angle option. Then, create another one and named it-30 Degrees and put on -30 on its obliquing angle option. Next, create a dimension style in relation with the text styles we've created. Named it 30 Degrees and -30 Degrees respectively. After that, put a dimension on an object. Then type "DIMEDIT" <enter>, type "O" <enter> to change the obliquing angle of the dimension line. Choose the object itself as the reference for its angle. That's it! You have now the steps on making an isometric drawing. Feel free to ask questions.

What Lies Ahead

Good life. Sweet memories. Happy thoughts. True friends. Bright future. Better work. What else would I imagine for a better life and a bright future ahead. Although it accompany with great effort and vast sacrifices. We need to make a single step in order to pursue our dreams. We must be courageous and brave all the time, be prepared in all obstacles and overcome those hardships in life. This is how it goes.

So I came back again here in Saudi Arabia to fulfill my dreams and goals in life. It's my second time here to in Saudi Arabia. I stayed here for two years and two months working. I am the only Filipino here in our company. All of my subordinates are Egyptians. My employer is an Arab and his business partner in an Egyptian wherein, the Egyptian has a bigger share. Maybe he only merged with him just to establish a business here in Saudi. Because establishing a business here is very expensive and you have to undergo a very long process of legal procedures unless an Arab man is the one to arrange those papers. This is because of their strict implementations of rules and regulations regarding  about their social cultures and religious beliefs. So most of the businessman here are co-partnered with an Arab or incorporated with an existing Arab company. That is why Saudi Arabia is one of the richest country in the world and also because of their land-rich oil. Amazing right?!

So going back to my topic, as it goes, working here Saudi is very hard because of their very strict rules. Men are not allowed to wear shorts in the streets, alcoholic beverages are prohibited and punishable by law, no places to hang-out, most of the mall-time are exclusively for Saudi's or for family. Taking pictures is not allowed unless otherwise you have permission from the policeman or security guards. This strict rules must be followed all the time unless you want to sleep in jail for a night. These are the common things you must know before working or visiting Saudi Arabia. Working here is a bit boring yet interesting because you'll learn more about their culture and tradition, their traits and behavior, their manners and way of living. Being able to work here for more than two years, I observed different and crucial things. Most of them prefer conversing regarding about religion rather than working. They talk most of the time, it seems like they're not getting tired at all. That's why I always feel irritated everyday. Hahaha. But in return, I can save much for my future, because the worker don't  pay for their taxes, instead, the company or the employer shoulders all of it. So we get our full salary without any deductions or cuts unless you have cash advance. It is one of the nicest things in here aside from gaining experiences and enhancing most of your skills and knowledge. This are the things that can't be stolen. It will grow and mature but not fade. That is why I came back here, to learn, to grow and to save for my future... Because nobody knows what lies ahead. . .

Samsung Galaxy S2

Well, let's take a break and have a look with the latest and high-tech gadgets. There we can see these DSLR, HD video camcorders, super-high pixels of digital cameras, tablets, gaming consoles and last but not the least the smartphones. Of course, my favorite among all  of this is the smartphones. I browsed and looked for the best and yet most affordable smartphone ever launch in the market and this smartphone has caught my eye because of its extra superb features that a smartphone can offer, the Samsung galaxy s 2, and also recommended by some of my friends. After reading all of the specifications and features of this smartphone, I was amazed by its features.
Samsung Galaxy S 2 is an extra-ordinary hand-held unit. It's like you're carrying a desktop on  top of your palm because of its powerful capabilities, the 1.2GHz lightning-fast processor Android 2.3 Gingerbread, TouchWiz UI v4.0, 16/32gb storage, 1gb-RAM, 4.3 inch. Super Amoled Plus screen display, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front camera for video-calls, 1080p @ 30fps HD video recording,  assembled into appallingly light and slim body. But that's not all this smartphone can offer, almost all of its applications and games are free from the Android market. Unlike  any other platforms that you need to purchase (that's one heck of a problem!), well, with this handset's platform, you don't have to worry for purchasing most of the useful apps and tunes. Regarding about its weight, it's very light that you won't feel bother carrying it. It's as light as 116g. It's 4.3 inch Super Amoled  screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass display which is resistive to cracks and chips. So I think, this is the best of the beast smartphone ever launched in the market as of now. Enjoy reading. Thanks. Hope that I get one as soon as it is become avaible here in KSA. Hidden Lies

Lies. A statement that deviates the truth. The most common mistake people does. Even intentional or unwilled, it became part of our daily life. Exaggerating things and events which is more far from what was really happened. A habit that should get rid off.

Lies. Well, I don't know why I came up with this idea wherein I only learned and noticed it during my stay here in Saudi Arabia. While conversing with my fellows, one of my companion told me that people often make mistakes by committing a simple lie which is unintended. So I stopped talking and think for a moment if this is true or not or maybe, he's just joking. And then, a new story  to talked to came up due to his statement.  We argued whether this is possible or just a hearsay. While we give our own opinion, I silently keeps questioning myself if it's true. So I think and think until I can't even caught up with their conversation because this idea keep on intercepting my thoughts. After an hour, our small gathering ended up but still, that simple thought still lingers on my mind. The next day, I still thinking about this, so I analyze the thought, give some time to think and wonder for it. And finally, I came up with the idea that this thought was true based on my experiences and habits. How did I came up with this? Just simply think of the things that you do or said for the past few days, months or years, remember those things or events that you make exaggerated or over-reacting even though that thing is just a simple thing. . . We make it more complicated just to fascinate others with our story. Right? So, I think you already got the same idea like i do. We commit lies unintentionally. But still, we repeatedly do it on purpose. I hope you get what I wanted to say. . . Thanks. 'till next time...

AutoCAD Express Tools

Proceeding with our next tricks and tips in using AutoCAD, here now comes the AutoCAD Express Tools. Wherein, you can input command using the shortened or the abbreviated words of the specified command. For example, you want to enter the command text explode, you can use the express command tool  "TXTEXP" instead of inputting the command text explode or by clicking the pull-down menu for express, under express you go to text and then click on explode text. So instead of doing those long procedures, AutoCAD gives us a faster way and this is what we call the "Express Tools". To be more precise, the express tools helps most of the draftsman or the designer to input command more efficiently and reliably. This additional utility from AutoCAD makes the way of designing more fun because aside from learning and making design faster, you'll become more enhanced and familiar in keyboard keys and in typing. Why? Because of the way you input command using keyboard shortcuts instead of clicking those icons. But sad to say that ExpressTools is not available in AutoCAD LT, yes AutoCAD LT, but hoping that this will be soon available for LT.

Going forward with our topic, here are some of the Express Tools that I commonly use:

Express Tools/Hotkeys - Function

LAYER
Layer Isolate (layiso)
          - use to isolate the selected layers from the drawing
Layer Unisolate (layuniso)
          - use to unisolate the selected layers from the drawing.
Layer Freeze (layfrz)
          - freezes the selected layer from the drawing
Layer Off (layoff)
          - turns to off state the selected layer
Layer Lock (laylck)
          - locked the selected layer from the drawing.

TEXT
Remote Text (rtext)
          - remotes the text from its external references once the current one is updated
Text Fit (textfit)
          - used to fit text into designated areas
Text Mask
          - creates a rectangular mask/background in your text
Text Explode (txtexp)
          - use to explode text into its individual arcs and lines
Arc-Aligned Text (arctext)
          - use to create text in curved/arc forms
Justify Text (tjust)
          - use to justify text using command line
Rotate Text (torient)
          - use to rotate text in absolute rotation
Enclose Text with Object (tcircle)
          - encloses the selected text with a circle, rectangle or slot
Automatic Text Numbering (tcount)
          - sequentially numbers text objects, with the number as a prefix, a suffix, or a replacement for the existing text object

That's it for now.. More hotkeys abut express tools to come.. Se you next time..

Struggle to Survive

Once in our life, we face situations and obstacles that is hard to overcome. Past paced events that gave us ups and downs in life. Things go tumbling down when least expected. Problems comes after another. Well, that's what we call life. You cannot say you're alive and kicking if you don't feel, experience or encounter any of these problems and hardships in life. You cannot accomplish anything without being frustrated or agitated. But don't worry, everybody do feels the same. We must survive those struggles so can still achieve what we are hoping for and what we are searching for. Of course, life is just like a sphere that always spin. Once you experience sadness, there comes happiness. Once you experience losing someone or something, somebody or something comes to you approximately the same or even more better than the previous ones. This is life. So much to enjoy yet so mysterious. You cannot predict ones fate. You just have to follow the flow of life. Whether it's good or bad, sadness or excitement, failure or success; you must stand and survive. That's the struggles in life. But always remember that everything happens for a reason and with purpose. Sometimes things happens just to teach you a lesson. Until you don't learn those lessons, the same events comes repeatedly until you learned it. So every time you experience happiness or sadness, just cherish it and savor the moment, because what comes after that is the vise versa of whatever happens to you. Well, that's reality. Feeling loved and be loved, hurt and be hurt, lost and lost. Its always a give and take cycle. Enjoy life. Live happily...

Forgotten Happiness

It was a good day. Weather is fine. The air blows gently and the birds chirp so clearly. As my day starts with this kind of beauty, I’m thinking if my day will be as beautiful as it was before or is there something good that will gonna happen to me. I started wondering if what it is or what will it be. So I started to groom-up and prepare myself going to office. As the time passes by, I'm still thinkin' what this enormous feeling inside me. Different thoughts came up to my mind whether it will be a good news from my boss; win a jackpot on a lottery; getting into a relationship; or maybe just a wonderful feeling. It's already lunch time and still no sign of what would gonna happen. I ate my lunch and go back to work. It is not a busy day, just the same, an ordinary day. No too much work or too much project presentations. It's already 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon and soon my work will be finished. But still, there is no sign of upcoming happiness. More beautiful thoughts came in and out of my mind. I can't even concentrate on my work, even though I need to make my daily report. The working hours ended and I didn’t finish the report that I am supposed to do. So I turned off my computer and prepared myself for going home. I prefer walking instead of riding in a car so I can think about what does this wonderful feeling means. So another idea came to my mind. I thought that maybe I can pick up a big amount of money while walking. But of course I knew it was just a thought. While walking home, I saw the mall where I used to buy my things and stuff. I decided to drop by and go inside to check if there is a big sale or something that would catch my interest. Luckily, it’s the same as my other normal days. Nothing’s new, no good stuff on sale. I left the mall and go home straightly feeling bit disappointed. However, the feeling of happiness inside me remains unchanged… Just a few blocks away and I can already see my little apartment at the corner of the main road. Then finally, I arrived at my house. I anticipated that somebody is waiting for me. But when I open the door, I see nothing. It’s just a ray of light coming from the window. I didn't feel any disappointment or frustration because I know that it was just an idea. I cooked my food and ate dinner. As the night grew older, happy thoughts kept on lingering in my mind. Few minutes before I go to bed, my phone rang. And guess who’s on the phone? Well she is someone very special to me, my future girlfriend (assuming! D). She greeted me a happy birthday! I am surprised. Whew! Now I remember! It is my birthday. After a short conversation with her, she said goodbye and I ended the call. It was very nice talking with her. Maybe, that’s the reason why I had a happy feeling the whole day. It was my special day and yet I didn’t remember it at all. I am so pre occupied of a lot of things. And because of this, I realized that it's better to start your day with a smile and be optimistic. If you’ll do that, for sure your day will be bright and happy. But most importantly, always thank God almighty for giving us new day, new chances and opportunities. Challenges and obstacles might always there too but don’t forget that God is with you. And with him, no matter how hard life would be, if you put all your trust in HIM, you can surpass and succeed in all your endeavors. Live life to the fullest... A forgotten happiness...

AutoCAD Shortcut Keys

Hey there guys, jumping on to my second blog post in which i will be sharing some of the tricks and ideas i learned from using AutoCAD Application.

First of all, let me discuss to you what is the meaning of CAD in the word "AutoCAD". It technically means any kind of computer aided drafting used in creating computer generated drawing and design which is basically first introduced as computer aided drafting and design, then later on replaced with CAD only. The word "auto" doesn't mean anything but just a reference to the company's producer, the Autodesk. That is the basic knowledge in learning new things. Study first the abbreviations to help you understand the basic thought before going any further

Coming back in sharing tricks and tips in using AutoCAD, well the very first basic step in learning autoCAD is to know how to open and close a file. It's just the same as opening and closing a microsoft file. There a keyboard shortcut for opening, i.e., ctrl + o for open a file and ctrl + x for closing a file. Those shortcuts keys are not different from basic microsoft word hot keys and the AutoCAD shortcut keys. They resemble most of the same shortcut keys except for some additional functionality from AutoCAD. Those ctrl + A-Z from microsoft word compared to AutoCAD application only differs in some functions which shown as follows:

First Concept

I am creating this article for my first blog post. hoping that this one will get a good feedback. Writing an article for the first time is not an easy task. It takes too much time and effort just to think of what to write and what to say. You need to think of something that will gain the sympathy of your readers and soon-to-be followers or not. Whether it belongs to world news, entertainment, sports, medicine, science, technology, and other categories. You must be leastwise accurate on what you write and say because some individuals depends on what they have read, especially if it comes from internet.

As we all know nowadays, most people became dependent from internet as the source of daily information and for their educational purposes. And also, encyclopedias this day become so quiescent because of internet as the source of most information.

So therefore, you need to think one of the best article to write for with accuracy and reliability. In this case, you must be very careful in choosing which information you should share. Doing this kind of information-sharing is not that simple because you need to read more article about which of these topic you are going to share.  Since this is my first time in sharing my thoughts about writing an article through blog post, hope that this one works. Need to think for my second post... What should i write then? Feel free to suggest something... And give me some help.. lols. :D
